Survey Crew Chief (Full-time) Job Description:
Seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to lead a crew to perform various types of surveying tasks, including but not limited to: Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys and Construction Layout.
Duties:
Perform routine tasks such as setting pins for surveys and wood stakes for construction layout. Take detailed field notes and provide sketches. Coordinate with office staff. Keep field vehicles organized and stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain instrument and other necessary equipment. Lead crew to accomplish survey tasks within timeframe and budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience Background in surveying or other construction related field. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to effectively communicate; both verbally and in writing. Work well on a team or independently.
