Our team of 40+ professionals have access to latest tools such as, GPS, robotic, and hydrographic surveying equipment. Our Land Surveying team does it all, from land title surveys, to topographic and boundary surveys, to hydrographic, transportation and utility route surveys, to right-of-way services and construction staking. We are seeking a Professional Surveyor for municipal public works and civil/site construction projects.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced survey professional that can provide day to day management and supervision of survey projects and be a part of preparing proposals, fee negotiations, and contracts for a growing survey group.

Responsibilities:
Manage land survey projects in the areas of: boundary, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, transportation/right-of-way, topographic, utility and construction staking
Communicate with clients and internal groups/employees in a professional manner
Give direction to survey crews and technicians
Review work of other surveying staff
Take ownership of monthly revenue and performance of assigned projects
Prepare proposals, scopes, fees and field files for projects
Minimal travel and field work may be necessary occasionally

Qualifications:
Must hold a current Professional Surveyor License in Indiana or Ohio (or ability to quickly obtain) with 1 to 5 years’ experience post licensure
Knowledge in current version of AutoCAD/C3D a must
Knowledge in Microstation considered a plus
Microsoft Office knowledge
ODOT prequalification in Right-of-Way
Engineering considered a plus Knowledge of construction staking and calculations associated with staking considered a plus.
