Tax Map Supervisor

The Harrison County Engineer has an opening for Tax Map Supervisor. Applicant should have a combination of education, experience, and training which indicates possession of the skills, knowledge, and abilities listed below.
Examples of knowledge, skills and abilities relevant to this job include:
- Knowledge of county tax map office functions, deed transfer procedures, subdivision regulations, Ohio minimum standards of boundary surveys; ability to interpret deed descriptions, analyze descriptions against tax map data to identify problems, update and query parcel information and computer database.
- Knowledge of computer applications including, but not limited to, CAD and GIS with an emphasis on quality control of data, and website management.
- Ability to apply geometric principles to practical solutions, follow detailed data accurately.
- Ability to research information from a variety of sources, organize documents according to alphabetical, numerical, or subject order.
